Started in 2006 and with locations in eight other states, the FastCare brand of convenient care clinics provides basic care for health conditions ranging from allergies to upper respiratory infections. The AAMC site in Annapolis is the second Maryland location for FastCare.

“The benefits to patients of a retail clinic are many, including expanded hours, walk-in availability and lower cost,” said Tori Bayless, president and CEO of Anne Arundel Medical Center. “The key difference between FastCare and other retail clinics is the close association with a major health system. With FastCare, patients benefit from connectivity, including access to MyChart, AAMC’s electronic medical record.”
