DPC JOURNAL SPOTLIGHT: Ark Family Health celebrates one-year anniversary with free family health fair

By The Peoria Times

Ark Family Health, a Direct Primary Care Practice, located in Peoria, is celebrating their first-year anniversary with a free family health fair on Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.  The health fair will be at their office at 8514 W. Deer Valley Road, Ste. 105, Peoria.

Kirby Farnsworth and Kendrick Johnson are the physicians on staff at Ark Family Health. They provide a membership-based practice that allows patients direct access to the physicians for any primary care medical needs

Farnsworth said, “We are so happy to be part of this community and look forward to many more years of community involvement. This health fair is a way we can reach out to more of the community and offer ways to improve health in the city.”

“We feel so blessed by the overwhelming response from this community during our first year of operation. This health fair is to celebrate the success that the community has made possible and to help as many people as possible to make good decisions about their health,” Johnson said.

Both physicians are committed to giving back to the community. The health fair is for the entire family and all ages are welcome to attend. Participants will be able to get free vision and hearing screenings, and visit a variety of health and wellness vendors. A bounce house will be available for children.
