I attended the University of Nebraska, where I earned a Bachelors of Science degree in biology and a Masters of Science degree in exercise science. I received my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical Center, and completed my residency training through Michigan State University in Traverse City, MI.
I am a Board Certified Family Physician, and hold dual accreditation from the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians and the American Board of Family Medicine. In 2014 I earned Fellow with the American Academy of Family Physicians. In my sixteen years of practice, I have been blessed with many leadership roles including Chief Resident, Quality Medical Director, Practice Medical Director, and Physician Champion for Patient Centered Medical Home, to name a few.
